The boys down at Ash Grove Lime & Portland Cement Company at Ash Grove, Missouri have started using portable gas and electric power units. They sold one of the old steam power engines to a tie mill down in the southeast Ozark hills.  They loaded the steam power unit on a flatcar so the Frisco local can pick it up to deliver it.

1232338_img.jpg That 1630 engine looks like one of those new "Russians" the Frisco picked up from Baldwin.
