Who Are We?


We are a bird club located in Fort Wayne Indiana, whose purpose is to Educate our members and

the general public on all aspects of avian care and husbandry, to Advocate and Teach the concept

of “responsible aviculture”, where the birds are given priority over commercial, personal,

monetary, or other human concerns, to Support efforts to combat illegal activities, cruelty, or

incompetence in the keeping of birds, and to Enjoy the bond we all share as bird lovers.

Meeting Info


       We meet on the first Sunday of every month, unless it is a Holiday weekend and then we meet

       on the 2nd Sunday. Our meetings start 1:30 PM.

 

       Our meetings are held in the upper classroom at the Diehm Museum, 600 Franke Park Dr.,

       near the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo at 1:30pm. Except for our Summer Picnic and December

       Holiday Party which are held at member's homes.

 

Membership


        Membership is open to anyone; you do not have to own a bird to be a member.

        Annual family membership dues are $20.
