The big day!  We launched our Chippewa at Palo, Iowa on July 9, 2001.  Pleasant Creek State Recreation Area is in Palo, Iowa, about 15 miles from Cedar Rapids.  A beautiful canoe, a beautiful lake, beautiful weather, and beautiful Iowa scenery.  It couldn't have been better.  Hope you've enjoyed our photo tour.  E-mail me with your comments at tgmills@mchsi.com
