Chapter 2    First Layer Of Wood Sheeting

This sequence shows the attachment of the first layer of plywood.  We elected to use 1/8" Baltic Birch plywood, due to its strength, its uniform color and its good bending properties.  At this stage, we used epoxy with silica and microbaloon filler to attach the strips to the keel and the inner gunwale.  The strips are stapled to the ribbands to maintain the curvature.
