First strip of the second layer

This is the first strip of the second layer.  You can see the 90 degree orientation of the layers.  This gives it its stiffness.  We had to pull all the staples of the first layer to do the second.  Notice the pencil lines on the first layer.  This helped us staple into the ribbands.  Any unevenness in the first layer strips really showed up here.
