Climate on St Kitts is warm year-round, rarely getting below 72°F (22°C) at night or above 86°F (30°C) by day.The humidity is moderate, and constant northeast trade winds keep the island comfortable.

Taxis are plentiful and willing to take you to the beach, shopping, island tours, out for dinner and arrange to pick you up. Drivers are knowledgeable and courteous, cabs are clean.

Currency is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar at 2.70 per 1.00US. Most all stores, restaurants and taxis also take the US dollar. Credit cards are widely accepted and 24hr ATM machines are available at all banks.

Island people are very friendly and courteous to visitors. Minimal crime.

Flying from the US - American Airlines, Continental, Delta, NorthWest and USAir to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Connect to St. Kitts with American Eagle, Caribbean Sun or LIAT. USAir provides service through Philadelphia and Charlotte to St. Kitts. American also has a direct flight from Miami to St. Kitts that you could connect to. From Europe or Canada - requires flying to Antigua, San Juan or St. Maarten. Connections to St. Kitts can be made on American Eagle, Caribbean Star, LIAT or Winair.
