Who
We Are Steel Dust, the quarter horse, is the
inspiration behind Steel Dust Editions.
As a colt, Steel Dust ate Kentucky bluegrass, but new
owners moved him to Texas. Steel Dust soon developed a
reputation for speed.
In his last race near Dallas in 1855, he challenged
Shiloh. Steel Dust broke the starting chute and pushed a
board into his shoulder. He forfeited, but continued his
legend through the Billy, Cold Deck, Rondo, and Peter
McCue strains.
A heavy jaw is a prominent characteristic of the Steel
Dust line. This symbolizes tenacity and determination. It
is our goal as editors of Steel Dust Editions to provide
hope and ways to copewith that same tenacity and
determination (without the heavy jaw).
Your comments are welcome. However, be advised: we're
flame fighters. Fowl language, bird droppings, derogatory
or flaming comments will be extinguished!
