The Sheffield Village Board met 7pm on Monday,
December 5, 2011, at the Sheffield Community Center.
Present: Mayor William Rosenow

was a complaint on jake breaking.

Three
bids were open for the removal of two trees on village property. S & S $760.00, A Cut Above $700.00, and
John’s Tree Service $1260.00. Motion was
made to have A Cut Above do the job.
Water Committee -

Our
facility has been nominated for an award
Garbage & Sewer
Committee –
·
None.
Other Business -
·

Superintend Report –
·
Rear
tires have been installed on the backhoe.
·
Have
received 2 bids on the tree removal; hope to receive 1 more by the meeting.
·
Frog
spring toy has been recovered, working on getting a new spring. Kids or adults broke the spring and threw the
frog in the tree.
·
Picked
up some shelves for the filter plant and the garage.
·
Trucks
and tractor are ready for snow.
·
Have
finished patching streets for the year.
·
Concrete
work on sidewalks (where we repaired water valves) will have to wait until
spring.
·
Leaves
in the gutters, catch basins, and tubes is still an issue.
·
Thanks
for the bonuses!
·
I
have scheduled my hip surgery for Jan 10th.
The next board meeting will be held on Monday,
December 19, 2011 at 7 PM at the Sheffield Community Center.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:19pm.
