What is Retinoblastoma?

Retinoblastoma is a cancer of the eye. One baby is diagnosed with retinoblastoma every day in the United States.

Symptoms of Retinoblastoma

  • Poor eye alignment
  • A white "cat's eye" look in photographs or in dark rooms (called "leukocoria" meaning white pupil)
  • "Lazy eye"
  • Vision difficulties
  • Red, irritated eyes
  • Sensitivity to light
  • Watery eyes
  • Nothing unusual
