SANDY KACZMARSKI's experience includes public relations, radio broadcasting, newspaper media, and the Internet. She has held several positions as manager/director of public relations departments and as editor of a newspaper. She is a member of several community organizations including Rotary, the Conservation Foundation, and the American Association of University Women. She has served as a board member at the state and chapter level for AAUW, and as a board member for Rotary. Sandy is also a member of the American Civil Liberties Union.
With a degree in Journalism from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Sandy has worked as a radio news anchor at WLS-AM, WGN-AM and WBBM-AM. She also broadcast news for the Satellite Music Network to more than 600 radio stations nationwide and in the Caribbean.
She has written for the Chicago Sun-Times, Beacon News, and the Daily Herald newspapers, and was editor of The Farmside serving Huntley, Marengo and Union.
Public relations management experience includes Brookfield Zoo, the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, and Blackburn College, handling all publications and media relations. She has also used her experience as a photographer in these positions by contributing photographs for publication and dark room management.
Her computer experience goes back to the mid-1980s and she has surfed the Internet since its early days in 1996. She is proficient in desktop publishing, using several layout programs as well as Adobe PhotoShop, to create brochures, flyers, and just about any type of printed material.
Sandy brings her experience on both sides of the media and graphic talent to produce materials that benefit her clients.
