The Master stands and the gavel raps!
All Masons arise to the summons three.
He directs the lodge, rules
and governs, with honor.
To the Great Architect of the Universe,
only his hat removes, only for thee!
This magic top hat for one year worn.
The Lodge Brotherhood
Cemented by this man.
Better masons made,
Fidelity, Honor,
Love Born.
For with his Top Hat,
He leads, with Truth,
He knows he can.

THE MASON

TRUSTING he ENTERS,
ASKING, he ANSWERS,
PASSING the Test and
Being RAISED to TRUTH,
LEARNING and BECOMING,
The Better Man, to GOD,
Country, Family, Self.
Humbly ADVANCING from
Station to Station, until
He MASTERS them all.
He MEETS on the LEVEL,
is PLUMB in his STATURE,
and is SQUARE with MEN.
With RULE and LOVE,
as MASTER, he Governs
HIS MASONIC LODGE.
He taps the Gavel "3".
Another Soul Enters
to FOLLOW the PATH
where All Good Men,
Seeking, have Trod.
