This is what it's all about... these kids will probably give their history teacher a lesson when it comes to Civil War knowledge. Left to right Bryne, Evan(my son!) and Dylan. Bryne has helped Cpt. Dewey many times as a powder monkey and as a color guard. Evan likes wrestling and can tell you much about Abraham Lincoln, who was also a wrestler. Dylan has learned some of the cadence on a drum which was handed down in the family. All these kids have also put on their own mock battles, (of course they are with toy guns... they aren't allowed on the battlefield until they are 16). They been in simulated boot camps and are learning the social dances of the times. They can tell you what a thumbstall is, they can tell you how important the flag was to the troops then, and they learn respect for they're elders and ranking officers and know what it is to follow orders.
