| As a retired professional photographer (portraits and weddings) based in Henry County, Illinois, I find myself now having the freedom to photograph this rural Midwest scenery. Although there are no majestic mountains, ocean vistas or giant waterfalls, we do have own own unique flavor here in the "Mississippi River Valley". What we do have are beautiful crops, old barns and windmills, arts and craft fairs, and hundreds of small creeks and rivers that flow into the Mighty Mississippi. Hopefully I can give others a taste of this small part of the world. |
