Eastern Iowa’s 2009 JDRF Ride Team

On August 2, 2009 our team of riders bravely faced the challenge of the Ride to Cure Diabetes in Louisburg, Kansas.

Eastern Kansas ain’t flat Toto! The 100 mile riders climbed over 5,400 feet!

Thanks to everyone who donated and volunteered to help with the Ride to Cure Diabetes.

Once again the ride was an amazing experience.

The ride program is on track to raise $5 Million dollars this year for the fight against Type 1 diabetes.

We are getting closer to a cure one pedal stroke at a time.
