From Jean Siebold, on the death of fellow alumnae Judy Taylor Snedicker:

What can one say about Judy in a few words. Judy was a brilliant, lovable woman who liked to have fun. She did not meet a man or woman she did not like. She could make people laugh at nothing. The world was her oyster and she treated like it was a precious jewel. When she told me about her daughter she said she had the most beautiful smile that everyone smiled with her. Judy did not realize it but she was describing herself.

I unfortunately did not get to meet her until I started going to the 8th grade class dances at her school. I felt comfortable, right away Judy fixed that she never let a wall flower sit by herself. She found me a partner and before I even knew what was going on I was dancing and after all this time I don't know how she managed that, but she did. Even through she was the smartest woman in our class she very rarely let that part of her shine through she was just one of the girls. Of course she was always on the honor roll.

Now let me see, what was she like in high school. The thing I remember the most in high school was the back of the bus. If you were privileged you sat on the back seat if not you sat close to the back.

Judy, Mary Goaley and Beverly Yacko sat on the back seat and harmonized, they were really very good then they would stop and we would all sing for awhile or we would tell jokes just before we would hit the gate they would harmonize again. I don't think many people knew how pretty her voice really was. All the Bradleys had beautiful voices, and then there was me. I would love to hear them harmonize again but now we have lost two of them.

The only time I saw her break down and cry was when her father died. I remember walking into the funeral home and she threw her arms around me and said "I did not think you would come". I thought she knew me better then that but you never know what you were going to say at a time like that. I will miss her very much but her spirit will on in every life she touched.
