A TABLE OF PRECEDENCY

1. Precedency is not affected by the sex of the office holder.
2. Persons whose precedencies as heirs or children are higher than those appertaining to their own offices or dignities enjoy the precedency of the higher rank.
3. Married persons take precedence according to the senior dignity enjoyed by either spouse.

Mayors of Municipalities and Lieutenant Governors created by Dukes having Palatine Authority, and Mayors of Royal Cities, take precedence immediately after their respective Dukes or Governors-General within their own jurisdictions, as do the Mayor and the Master of Buckland after the Thain within theirs.
