The Show Lead
It
was really great to see everyone that made it to the July cook-out. The food was good and I think we all had a
great time. We will be back to normal
with our meeting on August 3rd at the Botanical Gardens. The conformation class will be at 6 followed
by the meeting at 7.
Conformation
Classes
Speaking
of conformation classes, Stephanie is doing a great job! We have had a huge class and have so many
new students that the classes have been extended for another 5 weeks. If you would like to take the class, contact
Stephanie Haffner. She'll be glad to
sign you up. Next week is the last
class before the Biloxi show at the end of the month. Some pointers if you plan to take Stephanie's class: be sure to bring water for your dog, a show
lead, a crate if you are working more than one dog and bring any toys or
grooming tools that you would use if you were showing at the dog show.
84th
Annual Azalea City Classic
Less
than 4 months to our show and it is coming along nicely. The Premium List has gone to Onofrio and
everyone on the Show Committee is working very hard to help this be one of our
best shows. Ms. Bonnie Lee who was
contracted to judge Obedience and Rally has been replaced by Mr. Barry L.
Roland (schedule conflict). If you would
like to help with a committee just contact me or DH and we will be happy to
find you a place. If you or your breed
club would like to make a donation for a trophy, please contact our Trophy
Chair, Tonya Saska. Tonya will be
happy to fill you in on what we are doing this year. Would all Show Committee members please try to be present at
this meeting. I would like for you to
share what you are doing with the club and let us know how we can help you.
MKC
Breed All About It
At
the August meeting, Sharron Emmons will present an “MKC Breed All About It” for
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I hope
you will be able to stay and listen to the breeding guidelines and standard
information on the Cavalier. Also, we
will have a door prize and the raffle is back plus refreshments.
Newsletter
Wanted: an MKC member to do the monthly
newsletter. For more information,
contact Bonnie at 661-2334 or middlebaypwd@earthlink.net.
Pet Palooza
As you all know, Cindy put a damper on the original date for the
Pet Palooza at the Fairgrounds. The Pet
Palooza has been rescheduled for August 27th. Please mark your calendar. If you are available to bring a dog for
display or attend for the MKC it would be great for us to have a huge showing
at this great dog event.
