State Park Information
Hours Lake Poinsett Recreation Area is open year-round. Gates are open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. May 1 through September 30; and 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. October 1 through April 30. An entrance fee is required year-round.
Winter activities Skiers, snowmobilers and ice fishermen all flock to the state during winter months.
Groomed cross-country ski trails plus a system of snowmobile trails criss-cross the park.

Daily park entrance permit (per person, age 12 or older)
