E-Business Is the Buzz at Book Fair

Communications

I provide various types of communications consulting and technical implementation of both print materials and internet web sites. Cookie cutter work is best left up to bakers, and personal business communications is accomplished by professionals.

The key to working with people: help them attain very specific goals. Doing your best to make sure they are successful can be a journey. If you do the "hard work" along the way, goals will be attained.

  • Think First
If you are a "doer" then you are going to have a problem here.
90% of all projects are thought out first. If you get 90% of the" Thinking" done for you, it better be right, every last detail. I am not sure that is possible.

  • Plan
There are two ways of approaching a project.
    • Wing it.

    • Use a customizable template, form, or outline which logically and faithfully has a beginning, middle and end. Don't forget to do a post mortem and learn something for even the smallest error.

Some will say I have done this a million times,"I don't need no stink in' plan."
You should thank them for their time and wish them the best of luck. Then, please move on to a more serious client.

  • Involve Everyone
We are Creatures of interpersonal communication and everyone needs to have some input to feel they account for something in this cold corporate world. Make it warm for them and encourage input.
