The Karry Outz - A serving of Rock N Roll With Cheese

Come out to the Rusty Nail and help support one of our friends Mike Stroehle to help with medical expenses for a nerve disorder. Mike is a well know musician in the area and has been playing keyboards for a number of years (40 to be exact). The benefit starts at 5:30 and goes until it’s done. There will be raffles and a 50-50 drawing. So come on out and show your support. The Rusty Nail is located at 2606 W. Locust right across from the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. Welcome! Here is the latest......Dean and Mark fixed the trailer after the left side was torn out after a massive load shift. They then went to the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds to fly radio controlled aircraft. Both planes flew well until gusty winds, causing one aircraft to overshoot on final approach and colliding into Dean’s van, there were no survivors. The second aircraft a Piper Cub, also picked up by a gust of wind, went into a tail spin that was unrecoverable and crashed into a tree. There were no survivors. Investigation shows that neither Dean or Mark were using laptops at the time both crashes occurred.

The Karry Outz served up a dish of Halloween tricks and treats at the Zombie Prom held at the VFW in East Moline. It was a good time with Halloween décor in full horror mode. Check out our Facebook page for some of the pics, pics for the website will be coming soon.
