ENCHANTED GATE

All Crafts require artisan's tools to give the best chance of success, if improvised tools are used instead, the check is made with a -2 circumstance penalty. On the other hand, masterwork artisan's tools provide a +2 circumstance bonus.

Masterwork items can only be created by Mastersmiths
(Those with at least 20 ranks in any given craft)

To determine how much time and money it takes to make an item:

1. Find the item's price on our website (if weapons or armor) or ask any available DM's for the value of an item that would not be found on the site, such as buckets, or dresses. Take the value and convert it to silver pieces if not already in the form of silver pieces (1 gold = 10 silver)

2. Find the DC listed or have a DM set one.
3. Pay one-third the item's price for raw materials.
4. Make a skill check representing one week's (RT (real-time) work .
Creating Masterwork Items: You can make a masterwork item (an item that conveys a bonus to it's use through it's exceptional craftsmanship, not through being magical). To create a masterwork version of an item on the table below, use the masterwork component as if it were a separate item in addition to the standard item. The masterwork component has it's own price (300 gold for a weapon or 150 gold for a suit of armor) and DC(20). Once both the standard component and the masterwork component are completed, the masterwork item is finished. (Note: The price you pay for the masterwork component is one-third of the given amount, just as it is for the price of raw materials.)
Repairing Items: Generally, you can repair an item at the same DC it takes to make it in the first place. The cost of repairing an item is one-fifth the item's price.
