Language

Slang of the current RL era that don't belong in a medieval time slot aren't encouraged. A character saying 'cool' might have a bucket of cold water dumped over him from his less than understanding peers.

Collars

Slavery is legal in the Kingdom of Stonekeep, and to keep the slaves in a manageable order and make attaching something to them convenient, they wear collars. Collars in the channel vary from person to person, some IC bonds are strong and collars remain unchanged for a long time, some are more transitional, like the {SP} for slave pits, and it is very commonplace for the collars to be changed and removed and so on so forth in channel. And people can expect to see some very quick switching around of ownership in LE.

Some owners like to wear a collar-like contraption around their nick to signify a close bond but this isn't encouraged in Lands End since slaves do not have to have lowercase names and it distracts from the slavery theme.

#LE is a BDSM channel, but it is a RP channel, so the collars go as far as the boundaries of the RP. Slaves are not bound to their owners OL or RL from the agreement formed in channel. They are welcome to forge their own relationship outside, but the little {}s from LE don't grant OL/RL teaservice.

Slave Pit Rules

There are only two ways of getting into them. Being brought in by a trainer/guard, or by being sent there for punishment by the Queen. The pits are locked so you CANNOT just enter the pits.
If you are in the pits you do not get a personal collar, you get a slave pit collar which is signified with {Sp}at the end of your nick..
If you are a slave in the slave pits and one of the trainers is not actively role playing at the slave pit you can assume that you are fed and generally taken care of by NPC's unless you have been punished to have these basic items withheld from you for a brief time. Those that are the trainers in the slave pits are here for fun and for relaxation, just like you are. If they are not actively role playing at the slave pits please DO NOT pm them (private message) to inquire about general things or attention in the slave pits.

Consent

Scenes in #LE occur between consenting adults, and this extends to both parties. Doms jumping subbies and subbies jumping Doms can be fun, but it is always better to ask permission.

Being a RP channel, it is often hard to ask for permission IC without interrupting the scene, and it is rather silly to ask before every scene. So it is encouraged that if you do not wish to scene, PM the initiator of the situation and work out something that lets both off the hook IC.

This is a scening channel and as such, scenes are encouraged, but if consent isn't given it doesn't mean the world's about to crumble around your shoulders, it could just mean the other person has other engagements or feelings about a particular thing.

Special Rules for the sister channels:

Remember each channel is role playing. Role Playing is reflects how things would occur in real life. So, if you aren't at a scene and interacting in it you can't act as if you know what transpired in that scene. Watchers are always welcome. Watchers/Players are NOT allowed to join in the action if their character is elsewhere in the role play arena. Example: If you are at the entering the castle gates and a scene is already in progress at Red Dragon's Inn you would NOT know what is taking place there unless your character goes there. You cannot use any information you have scene posted in the channel until you arrive there and get to know the situation yourself. We want everyone to enjoy the channel and this should enhance everyone's role playing experience. However, if you are watching and lurking and insert yourself into a scene that you logically could not know about are be in the penalty will be 300 XP. We are serious about this aspect in our channels.

You must sign in the main channel, #Lands_End before entering a sister channel so that you can gain XP.

Our OPs try to monitor all channels to assist, make rulings and do what OPs do. If you are in a sister channel and you need an OP's assistance please PM them. Please check the main channel for other OPs if the need arises.

Limits

• Limits in channel are largely based on common sense, edge play should be kept to a discreet minimum and themes such as snuff sex and paedophilia should not be seen.

• For the purposes of public scenes, gallons of blood flowing out during a sexual act isn't appreciated, nor is slicing off a part of someone's anatomy for sexual purposes. If you're inclined towards that kind of thing, PM scenes are an option.

• Extreme acts of rape are disallowed.

• Children are not allowed to appear in channel whether in a PC or NPC form. You can have children, tell people about them, but keep them out of sight till they are adults.

submissives & slaves

If you put a collar on your nick, you will wear a + in front, and Rasbott will recognize you as a slave.

Character Deaths

If your actions result in your life being endangered despite warnings (IC/OOC) then it is considered consent for a kill. If you do not wish to be killed, stand down if unsure of your position just like you would in RL.

If you're in the Adventures channel and you find yourself suddenly in danger, you can't go running into the main channel to avoid the possibilities of getting your character killed. The Adventures channel was made as a place for events that happen away from the city, out of sight, out of earshot, out of range. Anyone in the Adventures channel is at least several miles away from the city.

player to player combat is to use !primay <nick> unless sparing

• Users, bots, or channels that advertise jobs, products or anything else that could be construed as being an effort to conduct business on this network.

• People who seem to lack all common sense whatsoever.

Bestiality

• As with the server rules, there is no bestiality allowed in the channel. Bestiality involves a human or humanoid and an animal of some kind and a sex scene.

• Some people have created animals as characters (for some reason). Those animal characters are not allowed to be sexual in the channel in any way, whether with another animal or a humanoid. This rule prevents confusion between bestiality and plain old animals having sex.

The Channel Topic

We don't announce birthdays or collarings or death or anything related to gain or loss to people. The topic is there to inform people and/or provide information about the channel.

Role Playing Rules

• Collar = slave character. Officially, slaves aren't allowed to own anything. The owner may give things to the slave, but these things technically remain the Owner's property. A slave may not handle money/armor/weaponry or own/buy property unless granted permission by the owner.

• Characters should not be allowed to make multiple rolls for their ability and/or skill checks, especially where they might have failed initially, ignored that result and tried again (and again, and again). There are instances where multiple rolls are allowed, they are tied to the type of skill and the situation. One should not do multiple "UseRope" checks when tieing someone up, for example (one rolls once for UseRope and uses the result as an over-all number for all bonds). However, leaping from a building's roof to another building's roof would require multiple "Jump" checks.

• Players can play among the rest of us as long as their character has no powers or special abilities, and doesn't enter into combat or other situations that rely heavily on dice rolls. The bare minimum for character creation is race and stat selection.

• If anyone is concerned with a something going on that might go against the Founder's plan for this world, stop whatever it is short. Don't say "you can play with it until Swannoch says yes or no" because things can get out of hand that way.

• Participate in the channel. If none of the OPs play how can we expect others to want to play?

• Break loose of your circle of friends as often as possible. Notice new players and become involved with them. Help them break into our circles of friends. Sitting outside and watching -even worse; being ignored- is perhaps the worst thing a new player can experience.

• Free-form role playing isn't exactly dis-allowed. As long as all players involved in a role playing session agree to free-form, all is fine. But if just one in ten wants to go by the rules then the rules will be followed to the letter. When a role playing session starts everyone can assume that it is going to be free-formed until someone says they would prefer otherwise.

• Anyone flooding Rasbott off with rapid rolls will be slapped back with a 1000 XP fine. (Includes OOC and sister channels)

Sex Scene Rules

• The Bondage.com server rules are, naturally, enforced.

• Mass blood-letting from a whipping or other kind of torture or play is out of the question.

• Heavy, beating violence in a scene isn't allowed. This includes things like kicking hard, hitting with closed fists, beating about the face and head, and general intense violence with intent to seriously injure, that isn't sexual. (Non-sexual violence is according to the general public, not an individual. The general public will say that rape using a clenched fist is too violent. Where one might enjoy and even find pleasure from being kicked in the teeth, the general public does not.)

• Breaking bones in a scene is forbidden.

• Mutilating characters by cutting parts off/out isn't allowed.
