Lambda Illuminator Luxeon Star
LED FlashLight
Internal DC/DC converter circuit maintains maximum brightness for available battery power over the life of the batteries. Operates on 2 ordinary AA alkaline cells, or preferred NiMh/NiCd rechargeables, no need to waste money on expensive lithium batteries. Runs for 2 to 4+ hours on a set of batteries depending on type, charge and usage. Uses the new improved Luxeon optics to focus the beam for bright even coverage and Luxeon LED for maximum brightness. Features a replaceable optic collimator, glass front lens window, and locking tail cap switch. White Luxeon LED and optics combine with a DC/DC voltage converter to make this a bright flashlight with an excellent smooth beam profile. Perfect for inspecting for small cracks in metal parts, aircraft, and other critical assemblies. Modified Pewter 2AA cell Brinkmann flashlight.

Here is a graph showing typical battery usage and illumination during continuous use. Longer run times can be expected with normal intermittent usage as the batteries recover with rest. Illumination levels and run times vary from Luxeon to Luxeon.

More battery types will be added as time allows.
