| The LaFine family is from the Kankakee, Illinois area. Some of the names connected to that line are LaFine/Lefin, LeClaire/Clair, Dion, Guttendorf, Meyer, Boermel, and Hupel. The LaFine family of Emile LaFine came from Belguim where the spelling of the name is Lefin. They settled in the Iroquois County area and the Kankakee County area. | ||
| Then on my mother's side we are researching Roberts, Stewart, Lambert, Bass, Huddleston, McBee, Ammons, Bishop, and Hale. Most of these are in the Hardeman County, TN area but can also be found in Missouri and Mississippi with my Grandparents raising their family in Illinois. | ||
| And Yes I am researching on my Husbands side and the names are Rhoads, Watson, and McCrackin and most of these are found in Arkansas. | ||
| Of course there are many more names that can be added to the list. I would be glad to share information and would be interested in hearing from anyone who might have something to add to what I have. | ||
| Happy Hunting!! | ||
