She floats!

April 22, 2002:  We launched her today in the Mississippi River at Dallas City, Illinois.  It was a bit more windy than expected/forecast, so I didn't stay out long or really "open her up," but it was a thrill to have her in the water for the first time.  Here are a couple of photos:

This section documents my first boatbuilding project--a plywood Console Skiff designed by Glen-L Marine Designs (their site is listed on my links page).  I'm pleased with the way that she has turned out.
