The Ayres Fleet

"If I can do it, so can you!" When I began to build my first boat back in the Spring of 1999, I had no real woodworking or even boating experience. Now, Jubilee, my first boat, has been in the water since 2002, and Bluebie, the second one completed, was launched in June of 2005! Also in 2005 my first purchased boat--a 1974 Catalina 22--became part of the fleet, followed by a 1973 Glastron V-178. The Catalina has become flagship of the fleet, while the Glastron is in the midst of a major refit. In late Summer, 2008, I began to build a simple plywood jonboat to use on the local small lakes in our area. She has been on the water since Summer of 2009.
