My son, SPC Colin R Keenan is currently serving in the US Army and served proudly and with distinction in OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM in Iraq. This link is to a couple of pictures of him. I wish to thank Colin, his unit (2-6 Cavalry) and all of our wonderful service men and women who lay it all on the line to keep us safe and to protect our freedoms. My name is John Keenan and I live in Central Illinois. I am a retired police captain and currently work as an account manager for a computer service company. I have been a model railroader for over 30 years and have an HO scale model railroad depicting the Soo Line, set in the 1950s.
I discovered Auran Trainz shortly after its release and have been a devoted fan since day one! I am a charter member of TrainzProRoutes, a group of dedicated Trainzers who strive to bring the Trainz community the finest in routes, layouts, utilities, and content. My association with TPR has been a most rewarding experience and I value the friendship and comraderie with the fine people who make up TPR!
I developed THE CLINCHFIELD PROJECT as the "Clinch" is a fantastic railroad. The Clinch traverses some of the most beautiful and rugged terrain in America, and the engineering accomplishments to get this line across the mountains is truly phenominal! The CLINCHFIELD PROJECT has gone through several phases and currently is being upgraded to TRS compatability.
Research and development is now in progress to completely redo THE CLINCHFIELD PROJECT. PROTO CLINCH is on the way, and will be a much more accurate depiction of this wonderful fallen flag railroad.
