Drawing:
After completing the charcoal drawing and fixing it, the same way that
I did with the Balloon Girl demonstration ......

I apply ground colors:
To avoid covering up the drawing or the tooth on the painting
surface, I applied acrylic washes of pthalo violet and pthalo blue:
both high staining colors even when applied thinly.
I like to have a medium to dark value ground which makes the image seem to
pop out...
