Text Box: I’m thinking about Bouchercon. Can’t wait for October to get here so we can get to Indianapolis and get in on the excitement. Haven’t been to Indy for quite a while except to drive through. Worked over there years ago, can’t even remember what it was now. Must have been exciting.

I’ve had this issue ready, or at least, almost ready for quite a while. Here it is the last day of August and I’m still plugging away on the final touches.

Be sure to check out the links in the “Know Your Police” column. Some good info there. The Crime Lab Project is of special interest to me. With enough support, maybe the reality can match up with the televised version!

Text Box: Every police officer that carries a Taser is required in training to be the recipient of the weapons capability.
The Taser is becoming the weapon of choice for many departments in dealing with aggressive behavior from a Text Box: suspect during apprehension.
