Text Box: So you’ve got your “Great American Novel” all done and you’re waiting for publishers to come pounding on your door.    WRONG!  Ain’t gonna happen that way.
Somebody has to persuade a publisher to take your work and get it out to the public.  You can try to do that yourself, (been there, done that!) or maybe you should try to get an agent.

How do you find an agent? Probably the best way would be to meet one at a writers conference and convince them that your work would be of interest to them.

A single strand of fiber can carry all of your computer, telephone, television more efficiently than any existing system.  It is easier to install, cheaper and better all around.
The information travels as an optical signal until it reaches it’s destination, and is then converted into an electrical signal.
Text Box: Fiber to the ?  Several options, FTTC, fiber to the curb, FTTN, fiber to the network, or neighborhood, or FTTH, fiber to the home.  The last option, FTTH, uses fiber optic cable into the home, whereas the others are a combination of copper, i.e. cable, or twisted pair, and fiber.
By 2015, it is estimated that most, if not all networks will be replaced with fiber.  Today’s cable modems will compare to Text Box: Fiber is already in use extensively for the long distance transmission as it is not affected by weather or electrical interference.

Text Box: Place crackers in a large bowl.  Combine oil, dill weed, garlic powder and salad dressing mix and pour over crackers.  Stir well, cover and allow to stand for an hour.
Cinnamon-Sugar Snack Mix:
1 Pkg oyster crackers
6 tsp butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Place crackers in a 9 x 13 baking pan.  Combine butter, sugar and cinnamon and pour over crackers.  Stir well.
Text Box: Bake a 300 degrees for 10 minutes, stirring once.  Cool and store in a covered container.

Text Box: These recipes are right on the package of Hy Vee brand oyster crackers.  I’ve never looked at them before, but they make great snacks.  The recipe will work, no matter what brand oyster crackers!
Sassy Snack Mix:
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp dill weed
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 pkg ranch flavored seasoning and dressing mix.
