Text Box: If you write mysteries, you need to know how police departments and police officers work.
Most departments have “ride along” programs.  Each department policy varies, so you would need to contact the department to find the procedures for the request and what they expect of you.
Don’t expect to carry a firearm and assist in an arrest.  You travel along Text Box: as an observer.
If you really get interested in their work, many departments have police reserve units that will give you more responsibilities.
Don’t call “911” to ask about this program, look up the department information number and use that.

The prosecution can place in evidence the death of the two sons, because Cindy alone prepared the food and did not suffer from Text Box: Cindy is charged with murdering her husband by arsenic poisoning.  There is no direct evidence against Cindy.  Cindy, her husband and three sons lived together in the same house.  Cindy prepared the meals.  The prosecution tries to prove that, after the husband died, two of the sons died and the third became very ill.

Text Box: Computer file storage, that is.  You probably have files stored in your “My Documents” folder that take up a lot of space and aren’t really used that much.  You don’t want to delete them, and there may be some that you would like to have access to when you’re traveling.
I use the free email accounts.  I have an account with “Windows Live Hotmail”, and I use it for storage of some of those files and for emails that I want to keep, at least short term.
I just send a message to myself at Hotmail and attach the file I want to store.  If it’s an email, I just forward it to my Hotmail account.
