I’ve been catching up on my reading. Since the last newsletter, I have read, (and highly recommend!)
Text Box: Harlan Coben’s “The Woods”, C.J. Box’s “Blue Heaven”, and Stephen King’s, “Blaze”. Another excellent read I just finished last night is “The Crime Writer” by Gregg Hurwitz.

M.J. Rose has a new book in the works. I don’t have a release date as yet, but it will be a best seller!

Text Box: Text Box: I upgraded my router and installed Network Magic on both computers. I then ran their “Advisor” and decided to rename my network, restrict access and block intruders.
The program is very easy to use, and install. You can have up to 8 computers on one license. It will track network usage by computer and give alerts when updates are ready for installation. There is also an add on version for Mac.
The free trial will give you a complete analysis of your network. I have it installed on two desktops, two laptops and Text Box: Recently, I had a problem with my downstairs office computer. Downloads were really slow, and my wireless network was operating erratically.
I ran several tests for connectivity and internet speed and couldn’t find anything conclusive. I did a search for a program that could analyze my problem and found “Network Magic” as a free trial.
I downloaded and installed it. When I opened the Network Map, I discovered I had two interlopers on my network.
Text Box: two PDA’s.

This recipe makes a pretty big batch, but I put some of the meat and cheese mixture in containers and freeze. I also put leftover meat and cheese mix in the refrigerator and spread on the rye bread and broil as needed.
