Text Box: Just finished my NaNoWriMo novel. For those of you not familiar with the program, it is a contest against yourself to see if you can write 50,000 words in the month of November. Hence the title, National Novel Writing Month. I didn’t make it last year. I’m glad I finished this year, but I have to admit, Text Box: the last 20K was pretty much a bunch of crap!

I’ve spent most of my spare time doing the NaNoWriMo. I’ve let my web page and my newsletter take the back burner. I plan on making a new years resolution to get back on the ball and try to stay current. Plus, Text Box: I need to exercise more, eat right, read those books I’ve got stacked on my desk, clean out the garage, etc., etc…..

Text Box: Know your weapons! Super Bazooka
Text Box: The M-20 rocket launcher became known as the “super bazooka” after it replaced the old 2.36” bazooka of WWII.
It used extensively in the Korean War. It was still being manufactured until recently in Austria and Spain.
It fires a 3.5” rocket with a maximum range of about 1/2 mile and an effective range of Text Box: around 150 yards. The warhead was high explosive and it was used as an anti-tank weapon. It can be fired from the shoulder, or in a prone or sitting position. It is limited by it’s short range, and newer warheads make it’s performance poor by comparison.
