Text Box: There is a new desktop computer that has just become available called, “CherryPal”. An enticing price tag of $249, and the small size, about that of a paperback book, could make this a very popular computer! Even though it is barebones and weighs in at 10 ounces, it packs a lot of punch.
There is no operating system.  There is an embedded form of Debian Linux, but it is invisible to the user.  The main operating system is a Firefox browser window.

Text Box: 3/4 cup yellow or white cornmeal
1 - 8  oz pkg grated mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsp Chopped chives
1 tsp salt

Pulse first 4 ingredients in a food processor, just until corn is coarsely chopped.
Stir together flour and next 5 ingredients in a large bowl:  Stir in corn mixture just until dry ingredients moistened.
Text Box: Spoon 1/8 cup batter for each cake onto a hot, lightly greased griddle or large non-stick skillet to form 2” cakes. (Do not spread or flatten cakes)  Cook cakes 3 - 4 minutes or until tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked.  Turn and cook other side 2 - 3 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen
Text Box: I found this recipe in a cooking magazine and thought it was too good not to share, especially when the fresh corn is now available.  I started off making a third of the recipe, now I’m up to two-thirds.  You can re-heat the cakes, or store the batter.
2 1/2 cups fresh corn kernels (about 5 ears)
3 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
3 Tbsp butter, melted
3/4 cup flour
