ready for some of my more esoteric and experimental musical works?  (to hear more traditional music, check out my academic site.)  many people will probably find the music presented here irritating or boring.  for those of you intelligent enough to explore the foundations of these creations and reflect on the meaning of each, however, there is much to reap.

by now, you may be saying, "well, bring on the music!"

unfortunately, i have had a few small roadblocks to bringing this to fruition.  what makes this ironic is that nearly all of my formal training is in music.  i think i have deduced the problems, however.

 
obstacles
until recently, every day of my life revolved around music.  don't get me wrong; i love music!  but all i thought about all-day every-day was music, and my brain was simply overloaded.  upon returning home in the evening, music was the last thing i wanted to deal with.

on top of this, all the music i am interested in creating requires about $20k of new electronic equipment.  and you know  that ain't happening any time soon.

the music overload has disappeared, as my new job is much less focused on music.  i have a renewed interest in composing and playing for enjoyment.  as for the cash, i am still working on it.  regardless, look for updates here soon.
