This is the "intermediate" model Launch Controller Box specifically designed for use in Drag Racing or Bracket Racing vehicles.

Features Include:

This is specifically designed for use in vehicles using an: MSD-6AL, MSD-7AL, or MSD Soft Touch Rev Control ignition systems.  One of these ignition types is required to utilize the 2-step and RPM selectable switch features of this device.

This controller installs quickly and easily, while taking the place of a 2-step and a rpm module selector switch.  It also "cleans-up" some the wiring mess in many vehicles.  Ideally this controller box would be mounted inside the driver compartment allowing for easy launch rpm adjustments at the twist of a dial.  By connecting two switches to the unit, one for the front line lock, and one for the launch  (transmission brake / rear line lock), the controller box will automatically activate the correct device(s) at the right time. Meaning that: the controller utilizes the front line lock on trany brake equipped race cars while staged to help prevent the car from "moving around" after you engage the two step.  And on a 4-wheel line lock car, it eliminates the need for you to "flip a switch" in-between the burn-out and staging the vehicle.

This model has an "ON/OFF" switch so you can disable the t-brake or 4-wheel line lock while warming the car up or driving on the street to avoid potential parts breakage or accidental tranny brake activation.  With this option you may also connect the main power of the Controller Box to "constant +12VDC" or battery, there by reducing the current load on your factory fuse block.  We highly recommend this option to all customers, it is worth the added expense.

A delay box may be used with this device but one is not required, and this item itself is not a delay box of any kind.
