Welcome to the official 2009 website. This event has been going on for quite a few years now and has evolved into the great event that it is today. However it can only be as good as the people that attend so come on out to Iowa and see what great homebuilt speakers sound like and see why we love the DIY hobby so much.

The Date this year has been set for October 17 in Grinnell Iowa, once again at the Harris Center on the campus of Grinnell College. The doors will open at 8 AM and the music will start at 9 AM sharp. This year I plan on having a second "informal" listening room set up. So if you want to bring some speakers that are works in progress and hook them up for a listen that just fine with me. Speakers played in the second room will not be "evaluated" for posting on the website as they are not part of the contest.

That is pretty much all I am going to put on this page. The links below will give you to all the information you need. As always if you have any questions feel free to ask. I will be adding to these pages up to the event and posting results after it's over so check back from time to time to find the updates.
