Photography, for me, has been a spiritual journey. It is a way for me to connect on the deepest level with my inner being, as well as the subject of my photography. Through photography I have had some of the most profound and wonderful experiences of my life. I am forever grateful to have been given this wonderful gift. I am not alone in creating these timeless images, but the entire universe is supporting and guiding me in this wonderful work.

Illusions Fine Portraiture is a unique Cedar Rapids, Iowa area portrait studio specializing in creating soft, intimate, timeless, photographic images that reflect the true essence of who you are. This is accomplished by beginning the creative process with a consultation discussing theme, clothes, make-up, backgrounds, props and your expectations. Next is the creative portrait session. This is a gift in itself, as it is a time to have fun, be joyful, and co-create with me the most divinely perfect images. We accomplish this by creating a peaceful atmosphere of soft music, candles, and joy resulting in a uniquely personal portrait. Whether it is you alone or with partner or family, great care is taken to find out and fulfill your needs and expectations.
