Snickerdoodles

 
  1. Cream together in a large mixing bowl
  3/4 Cup Sugar
  1/2 Cup Margarine 
  2. Sift together on a piece of waxed paper & add to above mixture.
  1 Cup plus 6 tbsp. - flour 
  1 tsp. - cream of tarter
  1/2 tsp. soda
  1/4 tsp. salt
  3. Mix with wooden spoon until well blended.
  4. Shape dough into small balls the size of walnuts.  
  5. Roll in sugar cinnamon mixture = 1/4 Cup sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon  
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about an inch apart.  
  7. Bake at 425 degrees for 8-10 min.
