Give a gift certificate for a blues show for Christmas or a birthday.  It's easy and you pay nothing until I play the show for you possibly months later.  Just  make up a simple gift certificate and schedule a date for your party for a date I am available.  We can even work out the date later.  What a great novel present.  It's almost like two presents.  The gift certificate and then the actual performance.  The anticipation will give the recipient something to look forward to for a long time.

For example, you could give a gift certificate for one of my shows at Christmas for a party you may want to have in July, or anytime that I'm available to book it for you.  You don't pay anything up front, but only after I've performed the show possibly months later.  You simply make up a simple gift certificate or use the one I have here and we find a date that will work for us.  This could really help you stretch your holiday budget.  I'll make you pretty good deal too.

It would also be great for birthday or other gift giving ocassions like anniversaries, graduations, etc..  Especially if you are a little short of cash at that time. 

Just write the information in a Christmas card, or birthday card, as it applies.  Here is a sample of some text for a simple certificate you may use.    Copy the text into your word processor and make it your own.

Congratulations  _______________________________ ( gift recipient here)  !  You have just received an exciting blues show for a party featuring Mr. Fletcher's One Man Classic Blues Band.  This show is dedicated especially to you as a _______________(Christmas, birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc.)  gift. 

This gift is given to you by _______________________( gift purchaser) who has hired Mr. Fletcher's band to play the blues for you on some mutually available date to be arranged in the next few days.  I will pay for the band and make arrangements for the band to play on a date that is convenient for all parties.
