The Heart of Iowa BMW Riders. Due to my moving out of the area that this ISP serves this web site will be going down sometime in December 2007. This will not effect the Yahoo site. Our Yahoo newsgroup page where there are pics, files, newsletters, and our message list.
Our meetings are the second Saturday of the month 6:30 p.m. at various GREAT Iowa restaurants.
Because of the State Fair and Sturgis, our August meeting will be the annual Amana ride which will be Sunday August 26th. The annual Amana Eat Yourself Silly dinner ride will meet at the Colony Haus at Amana at 12 noon. Give us 15 minutes or so for everybody to arrive and we will plan to be eating by 12:15. We will meet at the Bosselman Truck stop at the Altoona I-80 Exit at 9:00 AM and plan on leaving Bosselman’s by 9:30 for the ride to Amana’s. The ride to Amana takes about 1 3/4 hours by Interstate so if you miss the group, just jump on the Interstate and you may even beat us to dinner. Remember this is in Amana (this is NOT Middle, South, North, or Little Amana, it is Amana) at 12:00 on Sunday Aug. 26th. If you have never eaten in the Amana Colonies you owe yourself at least one meal, it really is a feast. Give Dave McBride a call if you plan to go and are not going with the group.
