I could tell you that I am proud. After all, very few parents are fortunate enough to have a son with incredible intelligence and unbelievable talent. However, saying only that would miss most of what I feel for my only child. He is the core of my heart. He came into my life to change me forever, instantly creating a whole new facet to my existence. Erik has taught me the true meaning of love. Not to take anything from what is felt when you love a friend, a wife, a dog, but, the truth is that you will probably never feel what you feel when you have a child. Erik makes me whole.
