Annual Meeting was held on November 20, 2008, at 7:15 pm following a delicious steak dinner with all the trimmings prepared by Ill. Bro. Jerry Burfitt and his cooking crew. Ill. Bro. Marshall, Commander, presided. Our speaker for the evening was our own Ill. Bernie Belcher, 33°. Bernie presented a most interesting talk on his trip via Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. and the World War II Memorial. He illustrated his talk with photos. Several members and their ladies were in attendance. All present expressed their thanks to Bernie for having this interesting program. Routine business was then disposed of. The Council voted to give $50 to an effort to mail Christmas packages to armed forces personnel overseas.Election and Installation of officers for 2009 was then held with the results shown below. The meeting was closed by Commander Ballard in peace and harmony at 8:20 p.m.
JANUARY 2009 PREVIEW: For our January Meeting (January 15) we are scheduled to have Mr. Gary Lackey, Attorney-at-Law, speak to us on Making Out Wills. Plan to attend this meeting!
If you are a 32° KCCH or 33° Mason in good standing, you are welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings. Dues are only $5 per year, most of which goes to support Valley programs and the SR Foundation.
