Gulf Breeze Sail and Power Squadron Membership Meeting Minutes September 30, 2006 Meeting was called to order by Carol Thornburg, Commander at 5:30 at the residence of Richard and Carol Sawyer. Officer's reports were called for. Theresa Mepham, Education Officer, said there were no classes currently scheduled. She asked Carolle Seaton if she had all three instructors manuals for the Boat Smart Class and she said they were at her house. In the absence of the other officers no further reports were presented. Carol called for a report from the nominating committee for the Bridge for next year. Carolle Seaton presented the list as it stands now. Commander - Carol Thornburg Executive Officer - John Myran Administrative Officer - Education Officer - John Griffin Assistant Education Officer - Theresa Mepham Treasurer - Herschel McDaris Secretary - Concerned for the two open positions were expressed but no one felt at this time they could volunteer for these positions. Discussion was held regarding combining meetings and rendezvous for 2007 and having them at member's homes. All members present agreed to this.
