Welcome Friends and Neighbors 

Welcome to the Woodward Iowa Friends ‘n’ Neighbors Day home page. This annual event could not happen without the help of our friends, neighbors, local businesses and neighboring businesses.

The Woodward businesses and the "Neighboring Businesses" play a big part in the creation of the event. Both have a page on this web site. Please look at their pages and support the businesses listed there. They are our friends and neighbors.

Due to the replacement of the Des Moines River bridge on Highway 17 south of Madrid during the summer of 2010. The Iowa Department of Transportation will not allow the closure of our Main Street (Highway 210 is  the official detour for this construction.)

Due to the anticipated high traffic volumes, and concern for pedestrian safety, most of the uptown events will be moved to McColl park. The parade will be moved to Cedar Ave. and E. 2nd Street.

Server space is limited and expensive. Only the businesses that participate or donate will have their logos listed.
