Shawn Colvin is a popular singer-songwriter who won a grammy in 1998 for "Sunny Came Home" off the album "A Small Few Repairs" - an album that is very worthwhile even excluding "Sunny Came Home." We got to see Ms. Colvin perform live with just her acoustic guitar (no band) at the 2002 Newport Folk Festival. We enjoyed the show, but we probably would have enjoyed it even more had it not been blazing hot (with no shade) under a sun that was burning us up at the time after we had baked in it most of the day!
