Dave Moore is a fabulous acoustic blues singer-songwriter from right here in the midwest. We saw him first at the Blue Moon Cafe where he gave a stellar performance playing his heart out on the guitar, key accordian, and (most enjoyable to us) the harmonica - the man plays a mean harmonica folks. He is featured as the harmonica and accordian player on Greg Brown's "Over and Under" - check out "Almost Out of Gas" on that album for some great Moor playing. On his albums he plays acoustic blues numbers written by the old masters as well as his own compositions. We love his most recent CD release "Breaking Down to 3." It is on Red House Records and well worth seeking out. The photos on this page were taken at the Iowa Arts Festival on June 7, 2003.
