John and I were married February 1977.  My children are Jeremiah, Tarra (Jeremiah’s wife) and Esther.

John has always been interested in automotive, computers, sci-fi, inventing (trouble especially :-), and tinkering in general.  John's favorite saying is "If it ain't broke I cain't fix it."  John works at an auto parts store.  He likes to tinker with his lawn tractors (see toys below) and is secretly a farmer at heart.

Jeremiah works in construction, and like his dad he likes to tinker.  Also like his father he has a lot of abilities in fixing most anything.  He graduated from home schooling after exhausting the local library of its contents in most anything non-fiction.  He likes future concept technology.  He was married to a wonderful young lady in 2006.

Tarra came into our lives in 1999 and quickly became the daughter of our hearts.  She works at a dollar store.  She likes all things pretty including what most women like especially chocolate.  She is tender hearted and loving kind.  We are especially fond of her lasagna dish, which we started making our Christmas special.

Esther has graduated from home schooling.  She stays home to help me with the home and meals.  She taught her self to knit, crochet and among other things the piano.  In order for her to have some pocket money she has designed and started this website.  In 2007 Esther was diagnosed with 19-degree scoliosis.

As for myself, for years I worked at a large insurance company.  In 1985 I became seriously ill and had to leave my job.  Basically what was found was that I am allergic to just about everything and had developed several immune deficiencies; among the diagnosis are arthritis, fibromyalgia, and MCS (multiple chemical sensitivities).  At that time the doctors believed that I would not survive another six months.  I got busy seeking the Lord and living one day at a time.  Two years went by before I realized I had not died in six months.

Jeremiah and Tarra make their home in a small town several miles from us.  John Esther and myself also live in a small town.  Like most families today necessity makes for creativity.  This was especially helpful during our years of home schooling.  The Lord opened many doors for us all to learn several talents; some call it being a jack-of-all-trades but a master of none.  Well, maybe a few.

Esther and I are displaying a sample of the talents God gave us on this website.  We enjoy sharing creativity with others.  We have sold some of our artwork over seas.  The Lord allowed us to be able to do some art pieces for auctions to benefit a few charities.

As a family our Christian faith is very important to us.  Any family that deals with chronic illness knows the added stress to not only the financial demands, but also the emotional, spiritual and physical.  Yet through it all that is how our faith has grown.  Esther and I have also become students of the Bible.  We have learned the Bible is a life long source on any subject.
