Zacke Covered Bridge 1908 Visited in 2002 and 2003 WGN 14-61-35 Map Quest Location
CR 500 S. and CR 325 E, north of Coxville, IN.
This secluded site is ideal for photographers and painters. It had
extensive repairs in 1992 including replacement of the floor.
The area near the bridge has an amazing wealth of fossils
This is a Burr Arch construction bridge. built by J. A. Britton,
it is 54 feet long, 1 span, and crosses the Rock Run Creek
This bridge was rebuilt in 2002. I don't have before pictures.
And is on the National Register of Historical Places. 1978
