By the time J. A. Britton built this bridge he was 77 years old and depended
on his sons to do the work. This bridge has raised approaches to be above
the frequent flood waters.
This is a Burr Arch construction bridge 126 feet long, 1 span.
It crosses the Little raccoon creek.
And is on the National Register of Historical Places. 1978
